Preparing for your move at Boat House
With Boathouse being a brand new building and so many tenants moving in around the same time, it is essential that you prepare and organise for the move.
Book your move with building management
All tenants are required to pre-book their move with building management to ensure exclusive lift access is available. The Building Manager’s contact details are as below.

You will need to book a time to visit our office on your lease commencement date.
Please CLICK HERE to book a time to collect your Boat House apartment keys from our office on your lease start date. Please note we are not open on Saturday. If your lease commencement date is on a Saturday, please book a time slot after 1pm on the Friday before.
Please ensure you bring your bond payment in a cheque or money order payable to R.T.B.A. We cannot hand over keys without payment of the bond. If not all lease holders can attend our offices on the day, please let us know so we can ensure everyone signs the bond form prior.
Connection of you Utilities
Electricity – Boathouse Apartments is equipped with specialised electrical infrastructure known as an ‘embedded network’ which is operated by WINenergy. For more details please visit www.winconnect.com.au.
Water – City West Water is the water provider for Boat House Apartments. Even though water is connected, residents will require an account with City West Water to enable billing of water usage. Please note that Motion property will be responsible for setting up your water usage account.
Enabling water & gas
Please note the water and gas valves are currently turned off in each apartment and will require the Building Manager to turn them on. This can only be done with residents present, so please discuss this with building management to coincide with your move.
Stackers and Shufflers (if applicable to your apartment)
If you have a car stacker or shuffler, please note there will be inductions for all residents. Inductions will be available in the comings weeks and the building management will keep you informed when bookings are available.
There will be a cost of approximately $100.00 for the induction. We encourage all landlords to reimburse tenants for this expense but cannot enforce that they do so.
